Both shipments arrived at the Port of Manila during the last quarter of 2011 and were seized after discovering that these were not only undervalued but misdeclared as well.
Shamoroal Enterprises’ illegally imported firecrackers are estimated to be worth P25M while its illegally imported chicken leg quarters are estimated to be worth P1.283M. FEC Trading, on the other hand, attempted to smuggle firecrackers worth P10.6M. |
